Detective Marissa Ellis followed in her father, Chief Simon Ellis's police footsteps, was engaged to the man she thought she loved, and believed her world was really  great until her Hispanic maternal grandmother, Ma'Ma, passed  and she inherited the Guadalupe.

 

Through new-found clairvoyance, the Guadalupe reveals her life is actually a lie. The uncovering of a filebox of unsolved mysteries places her dead center in the very government conspiracy she must now investigate. Her father and society have a shadow side, the stuff of big true conspiracy lies. Her sister's disappearance, the black eyed kids, the Alien Greys, National Parks, the Government, and her father's true work are all entwined.
