Carl Millender

Carl Millender" born in Shreveport, Louisiana on March 5, 1970 is a pioneer in the film and television industry. He is a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 1990 Carl Millender became a cultural consultant for NBC's new programs, including “Fresh_prince_of_bel-air”, “Sienfeld”, “Ferris_Bueller_(TV_series)”, the very first Danielle Steele TV Movie, "Decoration Day." Having obtained the high caliber knowledge of network production with NBC, he later expanded and found himself adding to his industry skills at Rogers and Cowan PR. There he worked as a Junior Publicist/Intern with top clients such as Quincy Jones' Qwest_Records and Prince’s Paisley_Park_Records. In the mid 90's Carl Millender took a break from film to explore the business side of the corporate world during that time hes was a business consultant at Ernst and Young in a special Divison call the Accelerated Solutions Environment a special partnership withMG Taylor Company. There he consulted for the highest executives of Coke, Wal-Mart, and Cox Communications. In the late 90's he started a chain of successful health food and wellness stores called "The Herb Shop." He eventually joined Ritchie and Associates a Candian consulting firm. There he consulted internationally with small and medium sized businesses across North America. In 1999 Carl Millender produced the documentary “Prepare for Y2K” a project which he talked about the weaknesses in the banking and business world that would soon topple the economy. This production's success renewed his interest in film and in 2001 he launched [Starmaxx Media], a multimedia production company. It was only then that he was fully equipped to fulfill his dreams and make movies. Since then he has produced Five features: “Rejecters of the Blood of Christ” (2003) which won Best Feature in the 2004 Independent Black Film Festival, “Positive” (2005) and “The Family Curse” (2004). He produced and directed art on "Lynch Mob" (2007.) In 2007 Carl Millender partnered with Henderson Maddox of the Atlanta Dream Team Productions and todate has produced and directed photography in 46 music videos for some of the new and elite talent in the Atlanta music industry. His recent films Five Days in The A (2009), "For Honor or Glory" (2010), "The Good Ole Days" (2012), and "At Mamu's Feet" (2013). Carl Millender is now a contracted TV writer/producer for the Colours TV Network and Turner Broadcasting Original Productions. He is currently the senior producer of the national TV series "Atlanta Homicide" and Cage Rock and has introduced to new pilots for 2009 "Cayman Rules" (Colours TV) and "The ABC's of Peaches" (TBS.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shaundraey Carmichael grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and was often the center of attention due to her eccentric personality and melodramatic sense of humor. Her passion for film led her to excel in the performing arts as an actress, writer, director, and producer. Some of her works include writing the vocal arrangements for and starring in stage plays with the Youth Performance Arts League at The Good Shepherd Church of Atlanta; writing, directing, producing, and starring in Lights, Camera, Action, Hollywood!, Assumptions 101, and as Addapearl in “The Wiz” at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, where she was also the president of the drama club for three years. Other short films include her parody, So You Think You Can Sing, and Foreclosure. One of Shaundraey’s main goals is to take the stories of ordinary people and bring them to life through film, which inspired her to start Berlezraelette Productions. Currently, Shaundraey is producing, directing, and starring in her first feature independent film, “The Games That Children Play". She continues to stay involved in the Atlanta community by reaching out to others who share a passion and interest for film and the creative arts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tony Deon Sims was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Tony got his start in the acting business at a young age. Tony later moved to Georgia to pursue his acting career. Tony has appeared on the TV show The Vampire Diaries and other TV shows like MTV Teen Wolf, The Walking Dead and Drop Dead Diva.Tony has produced one Indi film called The Patient and was the 2AD for the film The Games That Children Play by Shaundraey Carmichael. His Passion for film and bringing things to life is all that he loves to do. know Tony has joined the team to produce the next big tv series.
